Committee Members – Wanted

  • Would you like to help in the smooth running of Cleckheaton U3A?
  • There are vacancies on the Committee for 2024 – 2025.
  • The following are some what is required:
  • Ability to send and receive emails.
  • Preferably but not essential – printer to copy out agenda and minutes etc.
  • Experience of some  IT programs such as Word and Excel – or similar – this would be an advantage.
  • Free to attend (most) committee meetings approximately once a month on Friday mornings in Gomersal Pubic Hall.
  • Willingness to help out at events.

With experience and skills more detailed roles/jobs are allocated.

  • ‘Contact us’ or speak to a current Committee member if you are interested.
  • Sign up on the form that is on the notice board in Gomersal Public Hall –
  • Do this before the AGM on Tuesday, 18 June 2024.

End of Winter & Spring Classes

  • How quickly the time has gone since October 2023.
  • Classes have taken place in our new temporary home of  Gomersal Public Hall.
  • Nearly all the classes have finished with just one more next week still to take place.
  • Many thanks to everyone: Members, Committee Members and Tutors for making this another successful Year.

  • They are now available from the racks in Gomersal Public Hall.
  • They will also be available at our Coffee Morning on Friday, 22 March 2024.

  • In order to be able to run these summer classes we have had to increase our class fees.

  • The summer class fees are shown on the flyers.
