Town Hall Update

Kirklees Council is looking to see how it can re-open its building, following Government guidelines and road map plans and is in touch with the organisations that use their buildings.

No classes – January – March 2021

There will NOT BE ANY CLASSES from January to March 2021.

The following are the main points that have played a part in this sad decision:

  • Restrictions on the type of classes we can run.
  • Restrictions placed on us so we can safely use Cleckheaton Town Hall.
  • Difficulties that would be encountered with implementing new enrolment procedures.
  • Changing Government rules and guidance both locally and nationally.

The situation will be reviewed periodically in the New Year with the hope that some classes will be able to run in the summer of 2021.

Changes & Restrictions 2021

Hopefully we will be starting some of our classes in January 2021.

However some changes have had to be made and restrictions put in place so that Cleckheaton Town Hall can be used safely.

These are all detailed on the new Covid-19 page on the website – Top Left Hand Corner of the Menu.

This page will be updated as soon as new information becomes available or changes are made.
