Our AGM will take place on Tuesday, 16 June 2026 at 11:00 at Gomersal Public Hall.

There will be a short coffee morning prior to that at 10:30.

• Unfortuately today’s Flower Arranging class has had to be cancelled.
• That is 26 May 2026 Class at 2pm – cancelled.

• A Trio of photographs has been added to the Ballroom Dancing Page.
• These are from a Summer 2026 class.
• A new season will start in October.
• Schedules for all classes are been compiled and will be available soon.

• Leaders/Co-ordinators are wanted for 2 new groups in October 2026
• for Book Club and
• Walking Group.

• I think everyone would agree that the Coffee Morning on Friday was a super event.
• Art & Crafts were showcased and it was a chance to hear musical offerings from the Ukulele Group and the Choir.
• There was a quiz which was a lot of fun.
• Many chatted with friends and some made new ones.
• The Mayor and two Kirklees Councillors  who came said how much they enjoyed the event and how much they valued the work of Cleckheaton U3A.

• There is also a short video clip of the ukulele group playing.

• Our October 2025 to March 2026 classes are nearly finish.
• There are just a few extras for some classes that were missed.
• Thank you to all Members, Tutors and Co-ordinators

• Come along to the Coffee Morning on Friday, 20 March 2026, 10:00 to 12:00.
• This will be in the whole of Gomersal Public Hall with displays of work, music from some of our groups and
• A quiz and of course a chance to chat.
• It is open to everyone 50 and above – bring your friends to see what we do.

• The flyers with details of the 2026 Summer Schedule is now at the printers.
