The historic Cleckheaton Town Hall is usually the venue for the classes of the Cleckheaton University of the Third Age.
However Cleckheaton Town Hall closed for surveys and repairs in September 2023 and Cleckheaton U3A moved to Gomersal Public Hall, Oxford Road, Gomersal, BD19 4JP, for classes in October 2023.
As Cleckheaton Town Hall is still closed classes will continue in Gomersal Public Hall
This Grade 2 listed building has a Hall and two rooms for our classes, so things should not be too different.
The main programme runs between October 2025 till the end of March 2026.
Classes are from Monday to Friday, usually from 10.00 to 12.00 or from 14.00 to 16.00.
Most classes are held fortnightly, but some are held weekly.
It is hoped there will be a summer programme in 2026 between May and August.
These summer classes will also take place in Gomersal Public Hall

Away from the Town Hall
A Lunch Club, for single members, meets on the third Sunday of every month except December.

Children are not permitted at enrolment or in any Cleckheaton U3A classes or events.
